In my continuance to study the Book of Revelation, I dug into chapter six only to find myself backpedaling through the scripture to refine my thoughts on the rapture...
It is urgent. Let us make sure we have received Him “joyfully”.
This prayer conveys a transparent, raw view of the Christian life, a lamb in need of a shepherd, a constant battle with an enemy stirring up the past and tossing our failures before us, a cry out to God, a longing to please our Creator… a child running into the arms of the Father.
Her house was built upon the rock. She was not just a hearer of the Word, but she was a ‘doer(s) of the Word’ (James 1:22 KJV).
So, my question to answer in this Bible study is 'Why would God allow His children to go through a hardship or suffer?'
Just as the prodigal son returned to a forgiving father with arms open wide, overcome with joy that his child was home, our Heavenly Father is waiting with loving hands to embrace us.
But Jesus willingly humbled Himself and was crucified as an innocent lamb… without blemish… without sin… WORTHY.
