Meet F. D. Adkins

F. D. Adkins is a Christian fiction author and freelance writer. She hopes to pass along the comfort that comes from having a personal relationship with Jesus while offering her readers a brief escape from life’s struggles through an action-packed story full of suspense, twists, turns, love, and a few laughs. In other words, her passion is sharing her faith through fiction and writing.

She has had four published Christian Suspense Thriller novels: TRUTH IN THE NAME, TRUTH IN THE WORD, NEVER FORGET THE TRUTH, and FELLING FURY. Her debut novel, TRUTH IN THE NAME, received third place in the 2023 Selah Awards in the ‘First Novel’ category and won the 2024 American Legacy Book Award in the ‘Thriller: Religious’ category. Other works include a published devotional in 2024, SHIELDED, WIELDED, & READY: A 70-Day Devotional From My Journey Into TRUTH, which was recognized as a Selah Finalist in the ‘Devotional’ category in 2025, as well as freelance articles published in FOCUS ON THE FAMILY magazine, FAITH ON EVERY CORNER magazine, and ANCHORED magazine.

She has been married to the man of her dreams and her best friend for 26 years. She loves spending time with her family, reading, writing, and always enjoys a good cup of coffee. She also has a soft spot in her heart for all animals, especially dogs.

She lives in South Carolina with her husband, Steve, their two children, Landon and Layna, and their dog, Lucy.
